The SnowStorm that Canceled Halloween

My youngest son says that should be the title of a book. He's absolutely right.

I know I've been absent on and off here as I pour my blogging energies into GeekMom and GeekDad and my personal updates at my new website but some things don't belong there. They belong here. :)

Oh, man, you really got hit! But if you get a good book title out of it, then clearly it was all worthwhile. *g*

Clearly!

My son wants to illustrate it too. Hah! So we'll see. It might be a fun project to do together.

When I saw your son's idea, I was hoping that it wasn't just an idle thought. It does sound like something that you could have fun with together.

Nice picture. Despite the destruction, the snow is still beautiful. That playset looks a lot like one my friends have, except that they don't have the swingset attachment. And they still have the green canvas on top. ;)

None of my three new cats are lapcats - yet. I'm holding out hope that one or two might warm up to the idea, but the third doesn't even care to be petted. She'll tolerate it, but that's it. The only one that did like laps right from the start got adopted out and she still likes them. The new owner was recently "complaining" that he couldn't grade papers because she began an Occupy Lap Space movement.

And congratulations on making the best-seller list!

The canvas was ripped but the worst was the metal pipes that held it up were bent in half. That was a very heavy tree branch.

Hmm..maybe the new cats will eventually warm to being lap cats. Midnight has gotten better.
