Well, now that I'm back to being myself again and I've had a couple days to finish almost everything up...

The tea house is officially open for business! Even if it doesn't have a name yet. It's on top of the Welcome Center, and you should really come check it out! We have a little more than just tea.

[Tea house, huh? Derek will make his way to it, to check it out, and wondering if it's what he thinks it is, based on the stories of his old teacher. Curiosity and all that...

He'll stop at the door first, of course, and look down to see if the doorstop suggests he should be taking off his shoes.]

[there's a section of the place for that, but it's not required at the door. Most of the shop feels more like a cafe. When he comes in, Sheena waves from a spot near the back.]

Just pick where you wanna sit! I'll be there in a minute.

[Eh, he'll do it anyway; he knows what it's for, so he might as well follow custom.

He'll nod to Sheena and take a few minutes to get his boots off (Cowboy boots; great for walking in just about anything except ice; not so great for getting off quickly), and then pick a table...preferably one next to a window and with a good view of the rest of the shop.

Of course, he'll be at a loss as to what to order; he's heard about tea houses; he has no idea what one would have, though, so he'll wait for her.]

[right now the menu is just a written piece of paper. There are many tea choices, and a few pastry-type and fruit options to eat with it. She hands him one when she comes to the table]

Aside from me, you're the first customer. So I won't make you pay. [grin]

Well then, would you mind having me as one of your first customers?

Of course I wouldn't mind. Nobody has to ask to come.

Then I'll be there as soon as she can!

[Although being way at the end of the village, it takes her some time. But soon enough, Stella's made her way to the Welcome Center, and she shields her eyes from the light rain before she goes inside and up the stairs.

She'll just take her time to look at the environment of the place, an impressed smile on her face.]

[And it takes her a minute to even realize someone came in. ...Maybe the door needs a bell dangle.]

Oh, hey Stella. Pick any seat you want, okay?

[Raine had been meaning to take a better look at the tea shop, especially now that it's officially open. So at some point during the afternoon, hen the rain has slowed down enough for her to not mind the weather, she'll take an opportunity to take a walk over to the welcome center. She has a hood and umbrella, so it's not so bad. Almost a little nice, with the heat lately.

She walks up the stairs, taking a look around at the shop.]

[Inside the shop is probably a good place for Sheena in the rain. Something to keep her busy. It's been a little slow, though, so Raine will enter to find Sheena sitting at one of the tables near a window, drinking tea herself.]

Is everything all right?

[corrinesbell]

Ah-! [So lost in thought she didn't hear someone come in? Bad ninja. Sheena stands up and turns and looks so relieved it's just Raine]

Yeah, everything's fine. ...I just didn't see the point of trapping myself in there [a nod to the back room] to drink my own tea when I could do it out here.

[Well, Zelos has been here too, but he's mostly been standing in the corner with the "well I have no idea how this works" face.

If you're gonna be in here you might as well make yourself useful, y'know. Greet people, ask what they want. That kinda thing.
