After reading this I am shocked at your parents ignorance. I realize that they mean well, but damn, can't they open their eyes? They have raised you exceptionally well, but they have to understand that they can't protect you from everything. They also need to understand... Yes, I come from the country. But that hardly defines who I am. I would like them to at least have a conversation with me before they condemn me. It's not as if we pulled up in a tractor and I stepped into your house wearing a straw hat and cut-off jeans, talking about... Finding dates at my family reunion... Or something. It's true my family may not be as financially blessed as yours but we DO live in a house that we own, every member of my family owns a cell phone, we have a computer with access to the internet (clearly), we have a camper, a pool,--things that lots of other people go without. I am VERY thankful for my family, friends, and my life in general ( ... )

I don't know how well she'd take to you saying that :P But regardless, I was venting and I'm sorry you have to listen to me complain about this... I love you, I truly do, and I will work as hard as I can to fix this, because I won't let you go...

I love you too... I just want you to know that we are in this together... I know that if we can make it through this, every other problem we face is going to seem miniscule in comparison. You are everything I have ever wanted. As long as I have you to dream of when I lay my head down at night my life will be complete. I love you, and you love me. In my opinion, that is ALL that matters. Nobody can take that away.

... There's a reason people have blogs... To vent, and since I can't use my parents for that, I use this... If you have a problem with what I said, I'm sorry, ferocity can do that to people... I wasn't trying to make you sound horrible or whatnot, I'm just saying that life doesn't make sense, and that there are some problems with the way our parents are thinking now-a-days... You're not a loser, and neither is Naomi, so if I offended you, my bad, but shit happens, and I'm having one hell of a ride sitting at home dealing with them... Let's put it this way ( ... )
