We signed the lease. We put the deposit down. It was set. We could even move in today if we wanted. And I certainly wanted to. It was perfect. Now if we just had the money for rent.. Oh well. All good things in time. Maybe Xander could get a job.. Or you know, we could steal some again. That never gets old. Xander seemed a bit skeptical

I frowned a little remembering back on all of the things he had said since then though. He was confusing. At times he was flattering and times downright bitter. Like his 'couch man' comment. But then there was the beautiful comment too. Too confusing for me right now. Better deal with the more easily discussed issue.
"So, what should we do now? Bank robbery, hotel heist?" I laughed. "We could always go back and steal from our wonderful neighbors."

I laughed silently and opened my eyes. Were we getting that much in sync? "No to the bank, too high class. And hotel would be easier, espescially a big one with a lot of people. We could even go all out, get a couple of housekeeping outfits. Or even just say housekeeping and knock them out."
I smiled. "We can't steal from our neighbors though. They could trace it back to us. Two new kids move in. A rash of thefts...I saw it on Law & Order." I nodded and sort of rolled into Faith accidentally from laughing. "Besides I'm to fragile for jail." I laid really close just comfortable enough to not be invading and also not coming onto her.

I sat up. We weren't really pressed for money, but I was itching for some kind of action, preferrably of the violent kind. It was almost dark. I smiled.
I pulled the money out of my pocket and handed it to Xander.
"Hey, you go get us some essential stuff.. like food and toilet paper and shit like that, then come find me. I'll be patrolling."
I stood up and went to my bag, grabbing a stake.
