Thanks for reminding me about the double loaning limit now I feel like going to borrow a bajillion books! :D Any recommendations? Aside from Middlesex, of course.
& I look really orange in that class photo! Looking at myself makes me feel sunburnt or spray tanned or oompahloompah-like. You, on the other hand are white and kermit-like. SMIRKS.
YOUR POST TITLE SOUNDS LIKE THE OPENING LINE OF BUBBLY. SINGS!

haha i borrowed the book we did for last year's book day because i thought i hadn't read it, but i actually did. still, it's a good book! never let me go, by kazuo ishiguro. and i borrowed my life as a fake, by peter carey, which was kind of cool. there were all sorts of frankenstein allusions ;) i don't really like the title, though! but the book is kind of funny because part of it is set in malaysia and the author throws in random lahs and broken singlish phrases ;)
KERMIT-LIKE?!! OH NO YOU DIDNTTT
it's break the ice, vooman :)

hello; friend? :D
middlesex, is, uh, the sex. it is so awesome. have you read Water For Elephants, by Sara Gruen? it was started during NanoWrimo! 500,000 words in one month + editing = awesome book. it's quite similar to middlesex... in my opinion, at least. very historic~~ kind of feel.
