I'm a Terrible LJ Friend

Yeah, it's true. A big part of it is how long it takes to actually come and read all of the posts here, so I've gone and removed a few people I was watching that mostly just clutter my friend's list (Mostly people that I watch elsewhere too, and no one that was also watching me), and I'll have to make a better effort. Because unlike every other ( Read more... )

Cracked has been keeping me up late at night. You read one article, then find links to two more and just keep reading! That place is amazing!

Eventually you hit a point where you stop seeing new, interesting sounding articles anymore... but then occassionally you'll edge into a topic you hadn't hit before and the process starts all over again.

I'm a terrible LJ friend too, so I know what you mean. A lot of times I just can't bring myself to read/write.

And that anime series seems amazing. I'm definitely going to watch it now.

I wish I could say more about it, but it's dangerous to say anything about the history since it can give away spoilers indirectly. All I'll say is that you should look up the real history as you go through the series; it adds a really interesting level.

Holy shit, a plug! And you say you're a bad LJ friend. You're pretty awesome from where I sit, anyway.

Glad to hear you guys are enjoying those. :D I need to get around to putting up the next issue at some point.

Anyway, the neat thing about LJ is that your posts don't even have to be profound. Of course you're just talking about yourself; it's your journal. If we didn't want to see that then we wouldn't be watching you.

I'm a bad LJ friend because it's been, what, a month or two since I posted? And because I don't actually check updates very often, so I miss most of the journals my friends put up, too.

If nothing else, I'm glad to get the occasional look into what life's been dishing out for you lately. I know my schedule doesn't line up that well with ~anyone~ these days, so it's more convenient to have posts to read instead of having to try to figure out just when a good time for a phone call would be or whatnot, yanno?

Really? I actually didn't think you paid attention to LJ, since you never reply to comments. Figured you just tossed up journals and had no interest past that basic function.
