Hey there all,
I'm preparing to construct a garment with a rather unconventional neckline that will definitely allow the lining to peek out at times when I move.  It will also need to do some heavy-support work (my body plus some rather large butterfly wings) with as few layers and bulk as possible.  My plan was to make sandwiched strength layers of

Quick clarification that I'm planning on using 100% cotton coutil and not cotton-fused satins. In case that helps clarify the issue. :)

If you're using 100% cotton... make sure you do a high-end dye that does not ask for acids.. and instead use alkaline... like Procyon cotton dye asks for Soda Ash to pre-treat the fabric for best dye release/retention
