I am only purchasing white as that is the only quality I currently use. If there is enough interest, I would consider tacking on another color (prob. black) and all addtl. fees/taxes would be divided evenly amongst the buyers of the black coutil.
I have also raised the minimum to 5m as I was little overzealous in my previous minimum.
Hey, actually my boss is already putting in a gigantic order somewhere, so we wont be able to take part in your order. I'm sorry! Thanks so much for hosting this, though!
I am primarily interested in the black coutil, however, once I get my income tax refund, I'm good for 5m of black (if there are enough interested) and 5m of white.
By the way, do price estimates take into account costs for shipping materials and your transportation to get individual orders to a shipping agent?
Once I receive and cut the coutil, all orders will be shipped via USPS in flat rate parcels. If it's a larger order, I can ship coutil bagged in plastic and placed in a larger recycled box. I live next door to a liquor store with perfect sized boxes ; ).
As far as transportation costs, I am lucky to live three blocks from the post office...NYC at it's best. All of my posting needs are made by foot or by bicycle. I will have a one time $2 hostess fee for processing and shipping each order.
Once I get a feel for how many people want what (everyone, keep in mind black dyed goods will have a higher price and may incur addtl. taxes) and once I hear back from Whaley's about a volume discount I will relay those amounts and provide a breakdown of cost.
You're correct, thanks for looking that up. I wasn't originally going to order the black so I didn't look into their pricing. I was operating under the usual guidelines for dyed and/or printed goods. It looks like almost everyone wants black!
