Movie quotes meme

I saw this on arabian 's journal, I thought I'd done it before but apparently not!  So, another meme :)

1. Pick 20 of your favorite movies.
2. Go to IMDb and find a quote from each movie (or call one up from your memory).
3. Post them here for everyone to guess.
4. Strike it out when someone guesses correctly, and put who guessed it and the movie.
5. NO ( Read more... )

Gah, I TOTALLY know #2 and 6, but I can't remember ....

12. is Maverick -- I love that movie, and in my minority opinion, it contains Jodie Foster's single best performance EVER!!!!

16. Clue.

As usual, I suck rotten monkeys at these.

Look at my icon, tell me to kill myself now!! SERIOUSLY!! KILL ME NOW! And you know what's the worst part? As I decided to use my DEFAULT ICON! I thought, hmm, I wonder if that's one of the quotes. KILL. ME. NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!

:-D :-D

I totally agree re: Maverick (and Jodie Foster therein, she was beautiful and charming and I usually find her very unattractive!). It and Clue are actually two movies that were 'default' movies in my family growing up, if my sister and I couldn't agree on something else to watch (particularly that my dad could put up with) we would put on one of those.

It's okay! Heh. I purposefully picked a quote that would be a little harder! My Scarlett icon will sympathize with yours ;)

I actually generally find Jodie Foster quite striking, but in Maverick she was all soft and curls and smiles and charm and just utter adorableness to like the zenith. Clue, I love. SO. UNBELIEVABLY. MUCH!

No, no, that wasn't a hard quote. As soon as I read it, I knew it. I *instinctively* knew it. But my brain could not connect its synapses. I used my default icon and actually thought, I think GWTW is one of those quotes, but didn't pursue the thought further. If I had for five seconds, it would have been a big ringing DUH in my brain. So no, no excuse for me. I am bad, bad GWTW fan. I must watch it again. It has actually been about ten years since I last watched it. That's my excuse, I guess, but still. Bad, bad, bad. I'm so ashamed. I don't deserve my beautiful default icon, but I'm using it anyway!! WAH!

Don't get me wrong, she's very talented and I enjoy her acting...but usually she is playing a much harder sort of person, which is a bit of a turn off for me. Mrs. Bransford however, is all sugar and smiles and fake southern accents and I love her :-D

Wow, really? I usually watch it about...oh, once a year maybe? Though every time I do I end up getting in a fight with my sister over Rhett versus Scarlett :-D She sympathizes with him, I sympathize with her. Ne'er the twain shall meet, I'm afraid...

4 - Independence Day
9 - Sliding Doors (I could never love a Baywatch fan.)

:-D! I wanted to include that line but it doesn't really make sense unless you know what's going on...I loooooove Sliding Doors, it's one of the great under appreciated romantic comedies.

Yes on all three! :)
