We're just the fangirls... *blushes again* well, you can see that <"lj user="hated_and_loved"> and I had a field day on Friday when the chapter came out- it was all "wheee! it's out!" "Where!" "There!" "O man!"- then we went on to plot behind your back- since she's in charge of the Potter Slash Archive, and we thought A&S should be there... so, that was an amazing romp, just as Chapter 11 came out.
I've said it before and said it again- your Harry is a gem. truly. (I couldn't say much of what a fierce young hero he is- mostly because I was distracted by everyone else in the story- but such a lovely, good *kid*) - loved the way he was mildly snarking about the Wizengamot to Draco as they walked out (in a -huh idiots- teenage boy way), but then sobered up when he realized Draco was in no state to respond. *That* was such an intense heart-tugging scene.
sigh..
and Stan- hee- he was the kicks- perfect perfect....

I've never visited the Potter Slash Archive. This is definitely something I need to check out...

*sigh* I wish I could spend all day writing A&S. It's bouncing around in my head, distracting me, keeping me from concentrating on lesser things like Work and Husband. The Offspring demands attention, no matter what else is going on in my head, so he doesn't suffer quite as much as the more adult aspects of my life. Unfortunately, work is being a pain in... well, you know. And I promised, solemnly, on my honor, that I would switch over to work on my LOTR fic when I got this chapter done. I'm trying to keep that promise, but it's hard when all I can think about his Harry and Draco

I'm an ardent fan/pest of yours who is absolutely dying for you to update Adamant and Starlight because, in my opinion, it is one of the best fics in the fandom and I love it far more than is healthy.
*looks shifty* Um, how is the next chapter coming along?

Hey, stylophile! I'm sorry about the looooong delay. The truth is that I haven't worked on the chapter yet, but I am getting myself back into HP mode by reading previous chapters and tinkering with some other (unpublished) HP stuff. I should get started on it in the next few days - Christmas and my seven-year-old allowing. I'm afraid that I can't promise anything, because the holidays are insane, but I haven't forgotten or given up and this chapter is at the top of my list of things to do.
