Enough of this made me giggle giddily that I can't quote in the comment box! I quite liked the dropping-out-of-a-tree tactic, btw.

But what I really enjoyed was watching your characters settle in- I feel like you're giving a running commentary on real people. The details build the characters nicely, but I really love the flow. Particularly the give-and-take of the collected Weasley family. It has that fluid feel of a large happily neurotic holiday gathering, and feels uncannily familiar. Anyway, I really liked this chapter- it works for me on a fairly deep level of character interaction.

Well, it also works in the neat story cool idea nice description hilarious OMG SQUEEEEE! fashion too, but for some reason this one talks to me.

omg thaaaank you. :D I've done huge family gathering thing for sure and it's hilarious how there are like ten things going on at any one given point in time and then you hit this point at which you're like HELP ME PLEASE. *slinks off for quiet* ...aaaand then half the time, you come back after a while because you love them and their crazy.

And his letter to Draco was fabulous.

Bill being allowed to be taller than Ron was just...endearing and heartbreaking and heartmelting all at once.

The big Weasley interactions are so fabulous, one big happy annoying group...if you weren't raised in a big family--and even if you were--allow me to congratulate you for conveying the sense of it so well.
