i've started using tinyletter for "public" type posts and Day One for private diary entries, in an attempt to wean myself off of this site, which i mainly use now for ranting when i'm in a horrible mood.
the thing that keeps me here are the infrequent but good posts from my friends that i wouldn't get otherwise.
