PERMISSIONS FOR DAMNED (AKA, what you may do IC without needing to contact me first):
Hugging: Sure! Reactions will vary, though. XD
Kissing: He'd try to get away from you in a midst of WTFAREYOUDOING, but go ahead! Ask if you're meaning to do more than just a single kiss though.
Flirting: Oh boy. XD Go right ahead but again, reactions will vary...
Fighting: Verbally, sure! But if you're looking for a serious physical fight, please contact me first so that we can discuss. I'll most likely say yes! I just prefer to plot these things out ahead of time for tag writing ease and etc.
Injuring: JGDHJ please ask me first. I'm not against Byrne getting hurt (WHY ELSE WOULD I THROW HIM IN DAMNED), but I wouldn't want anything to happen to him if I had other plans for him at the time.
Killing: ...HE'S ALREADY DIED ONCE GIVE THE POOR GUY A BREAK. But seriously, you can't do it in Damned unless you drop, so. No. Sorry!
Telepathy/mind reading: Sounds interesting! :D Contact first so we can discuss though.
Backtagging: I'm always open for it! But sometimes I end up being very busy with college work, so I may end up asking to end it prematurely/handwave/etc. Sorry about that.
Fourth-wall breakage: In memes, feel free to break his little brain! 8) In Damned, though...I don't mind if your character can recognize him as a fictional character, but please do not mention it to him. He wouldn't handle the brain break very well...
Pairings: Currently, the only pairing I'm open to is Byrne/Tyrell Badd. Anyone else is no.
Sexytiem/Gore/Sensitive topics: Absolutely no for sex. I'm a fade to black person and really, really don't like explicitness. Gore (to an extent) is a-okay with me (this IS Damned, after all). Sensitive topics between characters is fine so long as we're both 100% clear that everything is IC, mkay?
Misc. warnings: As long as you aren't Manny Coachen or Calisto Yew YOU ARE SAFE FROM BYRNIE'S WRATH. 8D He's a nice guy! Trust me, he won't eat your face off or anything.
...that said, don't insult his daughter. Or flirt with his daughter. Or touch his daughter. Or even look at his daughter in any way that might suggest something other than friendship. PARANOID DADDY IS PARANOID. Oh, and don't make fun of KG-8 or his death. Those are not-nice topics he'll get kind of angry at you for laughing at. (Go ahead and do it w/o permission though if you wanna stir up a little drama~.)

Please don't take any of my Byrne icons. ...Well, you can yoink a specific icon only if you've seen me put it up on my personal LJ in an icon post. (In this case please follow my icon rules on my LJ as well.) But otherwise they are off limits. >:C The canine ones and others totally done by me (like the epic and serious icons) are totally off limits without exception.
The LJ's BG image was slightly edited from a photo called "Infirmary" by recreatedspaces. And the picture in the blurb of the Yatagarasu was made using the sillouette of the Yatagarasu from the AAI concept art book and an image of the Yatagarasu deity itself found on Google Images, with a photograph of the moon as a background. (It's also now an icon.)

- Aquilas - Is he a virgin?
WELL, Kay had to be born SOMEhow right?? :DD;

- Renamon - Is he human?
100% human :3
- Nigredo - How strong is his will? Following these three questions: (1) Is there anything (mental guards, language barriers, handicaps) which would prevent his power from succeeding? (2) How "strong" is your character's will? If your character is independent, relies on the self, is not easily influenced by anyone, etc., they will likely escape his power of suggestion. (3) Is your character particularly dependent on another? Who are they dependent on? How is this relationship?
(1) Nope, nothing!
(2) Ah, Byrne's pretty strong willed, especially when he's determined or really pissed off. But he'll consider the opinion of someone he knows and trusts no matter what his mood is. The stronger the bond, the more influence a person has over him. And it's not difficult to get on his good side. Now, Byrne wouldn't harm a person just because someone told him to. But canon already proved he can be subtly manipulated, and he's more likely to listen to an innocent suggestion than an outright demand. If Nigredo or anyone else were to form a bond with Byrne and gently prod him in a way that, say, makes him think he's doing the right thing, they'd likely be able to control him.
(3) Not totally dependent. He does depend quite a bit on Detective Badd for emotional reasons...and physical protection, of course, since Badd's part of the police and prosecutors like Byrne often get threatened. Same goes for Kay (sans the bodyguard bit). Byrne would sacrifice everything for Kay's well being. Otherwise, he is more than capable of being independent.
- Scarecrow - What are his fears?
Byrne's afraid of losing someone he loves, especially Kay Faraday and Tyrell Badd - his daughter and best friend, respectively. Those two people mean the world to him, and he would lose it if something were to happen to them. Since they're both in Landel's, the fear will constantly be on Byrne's mind.
Helplessness is another fear. He can't stand being powerless against injustice, such as being unable to help himself or someone else in pain or danger. (That was what led to the creation of the Yatagarasu, after all.) Byrne would hate/fear to be thrown into that kind of stress again.
Combine those two fears and you've got a deadly combination.
- Naraku - If a monster took on the form of a familar, who would freak him out the most?
Oh, quite a few people could traumatize Byrne. There's Calisto Yew, his trusted ally and...she kind of killed him, too. (Which he still doesn't believe she did, but anyway.) For more trauma points though, you could also choose his daughter Kay. She is ten years old in his timeline. Being attacked by your giggly, ten year old daughter. Think about it. 8| (His best buddy Tyrell Badd would also work excellently, but Badd's in the game, so...I guess you'd have to double check with Seiber about that? :|a)

(Pyramid Head) - What is he guilty of? What does he FEEL he's guilty of?
Actual Guilt: Thievery of corporate documents, breaking and entering. Also...if he ever accidentally sent an innocent man to prison? :F;;;
Mental Guilt: KG-8, most definitely. He feels like he should have convicted Manny Coachen and, despite the evidence being stolen, he feels like he could've done something to make that bastard to go to prison like he deserved. I also imagine he'd feel guilty every time he let the smuggling ring slip past him, like KG-8 II. More generally, it could also be any time he couldn't win a case with a suspect he felt was surely guilty.
In Damned, since he now knows about his murder, it will be a lot more things. The biggest ones, however, are these: that he didn't see Calisto for who she really was, and that his daughter had to grow up without him being there.
(Japan) - Can Japan recognize him and his canon?
Sure. Just please do not say anything out loud to him. ;;
(Kaworu) - How does it feel to be Byrne?

(Abe Sapien) - Following these four questions: 1) What is your character's core identity/nature/function/thing that defines who they are? 2) Does your character have another form they identify with more than the one they have here? 3) Does your character have a name they consider theirs more than the one they commonly use here? 4) Does your character have any ability to block/resist/sense psychic intrusion?
(1) A prosecutor. And also a thief. They're equal in importance. ;;
(2) Nope. He has, and has always been, a human. Though could a raven count? Since that is the symbol of the Yatagarasu (and also the meaning of his first name, hurpderp).
(3) Great Thief Yatagarasu? But he doesn't consider it his more than 'Byrne Faraday'. It's just an almost equally important identity to him.
(4) Nope!
(Zexion) - What does he smell like? (not as weird as it sounds)
He's human, so that simplifies that aspect. As for other smells...you might get the smell of a cool night from his thief-y tendencies. But more than anything else, swiss rolls. The chocolate and vanilla creme filled kind. Trust me, it's very important. :|
(Schuldig) - What should a telepath be or not be able to tell about him?
Nothing, Byrne's pretty much an open book. Even information about the Yatagarasu is ripe for the taking, as it's old news to most of his castmates.
