So I finally enrolled in classes today; I guess I was sort of scared of doing it, so I was avoiding doing it... but it was pretty pain-free. I went to take my placement classes. I got a 99% on my reading portion of the English test and a 97% on the writing (I probably would've done better, but I sped through it.) So I tested into Honors English-- ( Read more... )

I ended up drawing a mural on the desk I took my SATs on because I couldn't concentrate on them. I didn't get to answer everything in time, but I went back and answered some of them past the time they alloted. Whoops.

Speech Development sounds like a class for those with impediments. :(

I zoned out during SATs.
I'm pretty sure that affected my score.
They're just really long...and pointless..and boring.

hahaha, it's not, it's a communication class :D so I'll be learning about how to properly express myself to others-- plus I get to write speeches!

Whoo! You're taking classes. Eeeeeeee!

I hope your Intro to Psych class is cooler than mine, which was basically indistinguishable from Biology. Le ew.

And yeah, I TOTALLY see college as a way to put off becoming an adult, and there are a lot of immature people there, although they're really easy to avoid. Still, I'm a nerd to the core and might even sign myself up to keep going, get a masters and possibly a doctorate. I don't wanna grow up!

Sorry to hear about your ADD. Were you ever on medication for that? Would you want to be? Just a possibility.

Yeah, when I was about 13 mom put me on Adderall. and Wellbutrin for my supposed "Bi Polar". I never saw any effect though.. :\ but that's because I never noticed my ADD.

I hope all my classes are pretty cool! And I hate Bio! Oh no! Haha;

I should probably be on meds for it in college so I don't fuck up what I'm paying for... but I don't know if my mom would do it. She said if I found myself a psychiatrist who would prescribe them to me, she'd pay for it.. but there's also Bryan's point of view where he took Concerta his freshman year in college and got addicted to it. But I'm not really like that, so I don't know!
