How do you like the damsel's corsets? I love the look of them but always wondered how good the quality was?

That said, from what I can feel thusfar it seems like a quality product. The front boning is actually round fiberglass rods rather than steel slats- they're stiff and strong, and the round shape seem to help the corset handle the stress of the lacing without putting too much pressure on the fabric, which speaks of a mind that has put some serious thought into corsetry. It's got a long line which prevents bulges on my hips, and it's a bit lighter boned than my other corset and so will likely be more comfortable for work.
I'll let you know how it does after a season, though. :)

Moresca bodices are the only ones I wear to work Renn faire. So I totally understand where you are coming from. Someday I want to make my own, but collecting the tools and materials for quality corset making has been a slow to stalled project for me.
