I absolutely agree, there's nothing worse than falling for someone or becoming good friends with someone online who you find out is a completely different person in real life.
Too many people take advantage of the freedom to be whoever they want online - I personally think this is a bad thing.

It's nice to hear someone agree, and it is absolutely true. I have seen many people who were friends or maybe more online be destroyed by finding out the other was lying to them or being caught in a lie as to who they are or how they are.
