Sidestepping a bit, Riene planted herself right in front of Cory, demanding he notice her. Lashes fluttered and Riene posed like a cheap hooker on the strip. Her leather jacket and snug green dress helped the effect along. "Hey baby... you looking for another party to take your mind off this one?"
Both shoulders dropped a moment later and she hedged her bets with another approach. "Neither of us belong here, Raines. C'mon, I'll buy you drink."

He started to go on but the little bit was blocking his way. He frowned at her, more like at her little display but then her approached changed. He blinked once, twice. Mulling over his answer before sticking his elbow out to her, offering her to take it.
"What's your name because you seem to know mine, little bit."

She was content enough to let Raines lead the way. She'd cabbed it here so taxi stand, car, or a stroll down the sidewalk all worked for her. "Please tell me you've had enough vodka for a while, because I'd rather buy you a beer at someplace that doesn't smell like cabbage and potato."

"Catherine is a lovely name," He flashed her a charming smile since she couldn't see his eyes behind his dark glasses. "If the lady would like a beer, I'm game." He motioned over to his car, walking her over and leaning down to open it for her. "So tell me something before we go..." He stopped leaning against the car. "Why so interested in me or is it of who I look like?"
