dreamwidth.org - it started as a fork of the LiveJournal code, so originally it looked and worked almost identically to LiveJournal, but since then they've made some changes and added features and LiveJournal has changed even more. The people who started dreamwidth more or less promised not to ever sell it to some company like what happened to LJ, and so far it's been nearly ten years and they haven't
