how much is enough money to move out with?
i'm just asking what people think is a good amount out of curiosity because i'll be moving out after the first of the new year
and i'm looking for an estimated dollar amount, not "as much as possible"

it depends whether or not you will need to buy furniture/supplies.. because that in itself is a huge huge amount..

i don't know how living expenses for college students are back there, but here i'd guess that my friends who live in apartments probably spend about $700-800 per month on rent/food/gas.. in other words, on the essentials. but i think the rent here is definitely more than in sac or davis.. it runs between $500-$600 per month. so adjust that figure to whatever you think you'd be paying for rent i guess.

if you think that you have enough to furnish/supply an apartment, then i'd just say that you could probably calculate whether or not your income is sustainable enough to help you pay for rent and whatnot.

hope that helped.. this coming from the girl who still lives in a dorm, haha.
