Huge Transformers 2 plot holes

While babysitting, oh I mean teaching my summer school class, I saw this on Yahoo.  The subtitle claimed there are plot holes so big Optimus Prime could walk through them.  Lots of spoilers, so read if you dare or don't care. :)

Transformers isn't about plot, it's about huge robots fighting and causing mass carnage for reasons that are unimportant. This is the sort of thing that really shouldn't be that hard to make reasonably entertaining, at least for 90 or 120 minutes. The fact that he apparently couldn't is a wonderful example of just how much of a hack he is.

Of course, if I could be a pathetic hack for as much money as I imagine he gets for such things, I think I could be willing to live with the public shame...
