Today was pretty drizzly and gray, as was my mood.  Not bad really.  I mean it's the first time I've really felt blah since I've been here.  I just had the everpresent raincloud in my throat today.  I spent a lot of time staring into space and thinking about everything and nothing.  I've been reading like crazy.  I'm almost finished, again, with ( Read more... )

The thing about that part of the country is that it's often drizzly, cold, and dark, especially in the winter. That tends not to produce cheerfulness, which really doesn't help when there's situational stuff going on. You can counteract that by lots of bright light, and be sure to go out the times the weather is good. And, remember that you have lots of folks out there who really care about you.

As for me, you can always give me a big hug, that will do! I'll collect it next time I see you, how's that?

Sounds good sweetie :-) Thanks for the tips. They are really into Vitamin D here too so I started taking that.
