The last week my subconscious has been playing on my fear of spiders. Several spider nightmares in the last week and actually month. Yesterday it combined my fear of spiders and earwigs into a super creepy dream with a creature that was a combination of both. This morning I was very happy to wake up after a dream of superballs. Last night I dreamed all night. Most of it I could trace to current worries in my life. In the final dream, I was in an ice cream parlour and I couldn't figure out what the flavours were supposed to be. I ordered horse in fluffy purple clouds ice cream. It was black and purple.

We celebrated our twenty year anniversary yesterday. Lunch and dinner out, Zombieland, and massages. It was a really nice day.

The other night we were watching a video and my husband knocked a lampshade off of a lamp. I was thinking of the saying "smooth move exlax" when a little light went off and the meaning of that phrase finally made sense in my brain.

Took the children and got flu shots today. The least painful injection I've ever had. Hours later, the most painful flu shot I've ever gotten.

On the positive side, the hubby and I are going to see Lewis Black tomorrow.

Went to the tide pools and Ecola state park today. Very cool. So glad to be back near the ocean.

We got our keys eleven days ago. We've been madly painting, unpacking and organizing. We pulled up all the contact paper and used polyurethane on the shelves and drawer interiors. We picked up our refrigerator and washer and dryer in a U-Haul and installed them ourselves. that was an all day affair.The washer and dryer do not simply stack on top of ( Read more... )

Just got back from my nitrous oxide in Vancouver. Was kind of interesting since we induced each other three times. Now I can turn back around on Sunday for out move out to Vancouver.

Sometimes I can't sleep at night because my brain becomes possessed by an over-caffeinated squirrel that chatters endlessly. Now that we are getting ready to move, the squirrel is chugging Redbull and popping wheelies in my brain. I'm nervous, excited,scared to death.

Flew into Portland to take my anesthetic board. Had to retake the PSA but passed overall. Missed my connecting flight in Denver due to redirection for fuel and had to spend Sunday night at the airport. Now about a gazillion things to do before we move on the fifth.
