Thank you to everyone participating and all the encouragement from others. I've SEVEN art commissions now! That's much of April sorted. No! No! I'm very interested in doing both of the stories you sent me. I thought they were excellent choices, and both reunited me with a sharpened Severus that has been seemingly lost in recent years.

I think I also feel a stronger connection to young adult Severus these days, he doesn't feel so far off from the paths I've taken in the last two years. I feel I could inhabit his skin quite easily. That always helps when your drawing someone. . .

I read "Anywhere But Here" last night and I'm about a a third of the way though "Comfort". Once I've had a quiet think over both, I'd like to trade a few ideas with you through email. Illustrating someone's own story is far more intimate than a casual prompt, and I'd hate to go astray!

Part of me is internally cheering, "GIVE ON THE COMMISSIONS! YAY!", the other part is dealing with the sudden realization that I may never get my British TV fix ever again. It'll be the 50th Anniversary special by the time I've caught up on DW 7b. ;)

Maybe we should hold off on Tumblr publicity till I know what I can handle? Unless people want animals and mythological beasts. . . it seems to be only human anatomy I stress over.

Mrr, ah, I dunno if you are interested in drawing an illustration for me? You already did once some time ago just as a gift and I don't want to ask you to read anything else of mine if that's a problem...

Well, commissions are still open if you don't mind a bit of a wait! The upside of this is that It'll give me time to read your fanfiction, whatever the length.

All I require is a PDF version. I can reformat that into something more easily readable.

And of course any details of what you might want, if you do have anything specific. A literal scene of the story, an impression or emotion. . .

Aw! I remember. It's Snape with his beanie and a cig, right?
