It was very weird. Everywhere felt familiar but at the same time foreign. I couldn't really make the mental leap back to being a student and living in Egham. It felt a little like a dream world.
I'm not surprised that you were in the International Building.
Yeah, like a step back in time. It felt similar when we got back from Germany, only then we had to get used to it again...
I'm not in there as much these days to be honest. I camp out in Café Jules sometimes, but no more than that, or popping into my department. I spend a lot of time in my room instead, or just generally outside.
Times Square was awesome. I really miss it. They did fantastic cheese and ham paninis there, the ones they have now are nothing in comparison!
It's odd being back and not being a student isn't it? I was walking around thinking "back in my BA years I would have spotted about 9 people I knew by now, I haven't seen ANYONE that a recogise so far" XD

It's crazy odd! I found one person I knew working in the college shop, but that was about it, really. It was a little sad :(
