I like it! You're too good to me. I probably deserve "are you still doing the music thing" right now since, you know, I haven't been doing the music thing lately. ;-)
But I will have new tunes coming post-Zoe-birth. Oh yes I will! (Not like the next day or anything, but... oh, you know what I mean.)
Imagine if more people knew about the auction. I've got the re-issue, but could understand why someone would want to have the original; and pay quite a bit for it. You've created a body of work over the years that people are attached to, so each part of it is both appreciated and collectible.
The programming, polish, and sound of the album is really good; despite it being an early release. I'd suggest not reading too deeply into your wife's playlist (or lack thereof), as I'm probably one of many to disagree with her on this album. :-)
From "The Vision", I consider the following to be Cosmicity classics: M, Maybe, With the Moon, Keep Me in Mind.
That would have to be a very powerful (or very lame) meaning. I think I'm strong enough to hear the truth. Even if it takes me a long time, my iPod contains complete album rips. No matter how horrible, there's always a chance that I can someday come to terms with it. Please continue.
"M" was just short for "mystery". Why? Because the whole song, like MANY of my Cosmicity songs until EP42, was about visualizing what it would be like when I met the girl I was searching for. Who she was? A mystery. And using the actual word mystery like a name just didn't play as cool as an initial. (One could easily argue that all of Cosmicity was about the search for love, and after that was found, I truly became myself... hence finally working under my real name. Of course, I'm kinda just making that up on the fly, but it works!)
If I was writing the song over again today, I'd work harder and find something a bit more clever and a bit less cryptic for the title/theme, but I was a lazier songwriter then, hence a song called M.
ah, i'm still a big fan of "M" - when i met you before binary language of love came out, you asked me what my favourite song was, and that's what i told you. you looked at me like i was smoking something. ;)
Hehe... I like that song too, it was just not one that many people ever mentioned from that album! It was "Keep Me In Mind" 9 times out of 10, and if not that one, then "Maybe". But I'm glad you dig it, especially 14 years later!

I appreciate that.
And I am pleased with my accomplishments, I really am. The main thing I wanted to do with my life was reach out and touch people with music, and in that I consider myself a success. But in the name of "always dreaming", I can't help still wanting to reach out to even more. ;-)
