Wow. No rest for the weary, right? You all have had quite the fan-hitting crap month. The tide will turn eventually...things must start going your way soon. And don't hesitate to take us up on the spare room offer should you need it. You have friends right down the road.
They know a heck of a lot more now than they did back in the early 70's when your parents had to figure out what to do for your sister. The hope I'm holding on to, at least, is that more can be determined (and quicker) now so they don't overmedicate or try things out unnecessarily. And, a huge thing working in Zoe's favor is how focused you both are going to be on finding out as much as you can and getting the best answers out there. Quest-for-knowledge-boy WILL come in very handy!
Keeping you guys in my thoughts is easy. Can't think about much else... The thought that enters my mind a lot, though, is that Zoe's lucky. Not lucky to be in the situation, but lucky to be in your care. Whatever the best option for her is, no matter what it takes, is going to be the one that you'll go with. There won't be any looking back going "we should have asked..." or "we should have tried..."
