So, it's been a while since I've updated here. The big thing in my life right now... I'm closing on a house in less than two weeks! I biked over to the LDS church where my precinct is voting today. Of all the places I'd expect to find a bike rack... and nuthin'. I was part of the first batch of voters in, and since I've always been quick with scanner type things, I ended up being the first voter today in my precinct. Woo.

By some cruel twist of fate, I received in the mail a flyer from the despicable people at the yes campaign. It's funded by Focus on the Family and the Knights of Columbus, both out-of-state groups. Apparently according to the flyer, if we vote yes on 102 it will keep judges from forcing homosexual marriage on the general populace. Um... wait a ( Read more... )

Today was the end of the road for Washington Mutual. They've been bought out by JP Morgan Chase, meaning that all the WaMus are going to get phased out in favor of traditional Chase banks. Phooey.
