I'm dead. A part of me has truly died today. I want what's best for him. But at the same time, although he says it's best for both of us, it's nothing but bad for me. He's all I ever wanted, and I can't imagine going on without him, because I know that there's nothing better out there.

believe me, i've said these exact words about someone i felt the same exact way about. but after a few years of pining, i can finally say that there is in fact better and that i don't in fact need her in my life. those words my be very, very, very out of reach right now. but one day, you will see that it was, as spence says, for the best. if you need anything, you let me know. i know that we hardly talk anymore, but i will help in any way that i can. if you want to talk, let me know.
