Terry Gross's interview Director Guillermo Del Torro was brilliant.

Guillermo del Toro's film, Pan's Labyrinth, is up for six Academy Awards this year. Del Toro, who grew up in Mexico, wrote and directed the film.

I want to see Pan's Labrynth too! I think I might go see it this week end.

Heh, I was just at a Mythic Journeys meeting where we talked about getting Del Toro at the convention

From the interview, he sounds like he'd be a great addition to Mythic Journeys.
I've seen a couple of his films. "Cronos" is one of my favorites, it was his first feature length movie. If you haven't seen it. It's a unconventional vampire tale and a very tender love story between grandparent and grandshild.
