A propos of #6: according to my mother, who worked for a while in an assisted living facility, if a normally reasonable/sane older person begins to act radically different/batshit insane, they should be checked for a bladder infection. Apparently, in older people, bladder infections can have extremely startling behavioral and cognitive impact.

6. Whoa, my grandfather broke his hip not many days ago. I'm glad your grandmother is recovering well.
