It took me a solid month of ripping, but it's totally worth it once you're done. Nothing like having all your music in your pocket and easily accessible.

Are you ripping to AAC? Using the 128 or the custom 256 encoding?

I think it's to AAC but I have no idea to be honest. I just started inserting CD's and let it fly.

What a great series that was! I was at Friday night's game and was just about to leave the park when the rally started. But yeah, those 4 HRs...I couldn't believe what I was seeing. Crazy!

I've learned it's generally a bad idea to leave early when they are playing the Yankees. Too many crazy things happen.

ahh iPod hell.. I know how that is. I'm still not done with my collection, but then I am super anal because the database likes to slightly mislabel things (esp. the album covers). I actually sit there and crosss-reference stuff with allmusic and discogs, and I go so far as to mark things like covers and remixes and who the original artistes were and what year and well yeah you get the picture...
Can't wait to finally see some games this year, got tickets for Memorial day and one other set. One year I'd like to get seasons or something, but right now that's a little hard witht he rugrat and all.

Yeah, I just let iTunes tell me what it is most of the time unless it is so drastically wrong that I would be bugged by it. I know the real genre!

A full season would be great, but probably impossible.

Well you see it's all part of my plan for the impending apocalypse. In case we all get wiped tomorrow, future generations can rebuild a rough assumption of musical history using my anal labelling technique. :-)
