So, as you all likely know by now (unless you've been hiding in a cave in Tora Bora), the Red Sox won the World Series. What you may not have known was that I was at game 7 of the ALCS series and at game 2 of the World Series. Great pictures. I hate sports but I love dogs and leaves, so it worked out well in the end for me.

What if the dogs were playing sports? I suppose the ultimate is if you could get the dogs to rake leaves. Win win!

what sucks is that it took all but 5 seconds for the Yanks and A-Fraud to interrupt the World Series and the sports world announcing hes opting out of NY....fucking Yanks...that story became more talked about than the Sox winning ( ... )

I'd be pretty surprised if he became a Sox to be honest. I mean, what's the point of opting out of a market like NY just to join a similar team? I bet he ends up on Anaheim or Chicago...

I'm fine with JD. Coco is gone unless he wants to be a 4th OF, which is a waste. I can see them trading him to MN or something similar.

I watched most of the ALCS and the Series on tv (which surprised even myself). I'm more of a gotta-be-at-the-park-to-enjoy-a-baseball-game kinda guy. And, I was trying to figure out which game you had gone to.

BTW, do you have any thoughts on Ian McEwan? I read his book Saturday, which I thought was a mess.
