Your Eric with either get over whatever problem he has or he won't, but I don't think the calling on your part will help. It's really up to him. It may eventually blow over, after the discovery of the LJ has lost it's offensiveness.

The calling does help with Eric. We've talked every day for over five years. Even though we aren't dating, he's still one of the most special people in my life. We've grown with each other so much. He's known me from the time I was a senior in high school until I was living on my own my last year in college. He's seen me grow into an adult and knows me in ways no one else can. We have a relationship now that is probably hard for anyone else to understand.

It's not a sweater, silly! It's a scarf! And yes, we should get together to knit sometime!

He won't stay mad. He does value our friendship. He sees you as a sign of me moving on without him, which probably hurts. But he and I are both in relationships with other people now. Maybe him finding the LJ wasn't a bad thing!
