Dan and I saw this great movie on the weekend and thought it deserves a mention.
Leon: The professional With a young Natalie Portman, Jean Reno and Gary Oldman.
It was really entertaining and witty, I recommend you go rent it. If anything rent it for Gary Oldman that sick bastard is a hoot.

Jean Reno is my all time favorite actor followed really closely by Vincent Cassel and Samy Naceri. Have you seen the big blue. It's a really good movie too. Crimson river is so-so however it's still nice to watch. He plays in la femme Nikita as well.

Purrrr Jean Reno! Gary Oldman plays so well you actually hate him before the end of the flick. Niiiiiice!

I'm actually not that familiar with Jean Reno but I just loved how he played Leon. I've never see the Big Blue but i'll consider it in my next rental picks.

You'll be happy to know that Nathalie Portman will soon reprise her role as Mathilda in a sequel that LKuc Besson will direct.

No way! I was thinking to myself while watching that movie how cool it would be to have a sequel ten years later with an adult Mathilde. How fucked up must someone like that be after going through that experience?? That's going to be an awesome movie.

yeah, i have seen that movie many times. i hear the new released version left in the parts that played up the lolita thing more. not sure how that will affect my thoughts on it now. loved the original version tons. they are even bringing out a game with leon in it. that would so rock to see a part two with her in it. i think of that movie everytime i hear that sting song. she sure was a cute lil rag-a-muffin...

It's one of my all time favorite movies. :) I sooooooo love Jean Reno. He's great, Oldman & Portman too, it's simply a great movie. Can't wait to see the sequel! :)

i don't know if you're into harry potter things but gary oldman is playing sirius black in the third film coming this summer.
