why are you surprised they say it about politics? I don't think you're majors a joke, I think that maybe you don't need to go to school for it, but I hardly think its a joke. I would love to read your work one day. Writing is something I toy around with on occasion, but for me it would only be a hobby. I'd go nuts if I had to write for a living. I admire that its what you strive for. I figure, why learn all the grammar rules when I basically only get called on split infinitives, which I've never been able to figure out. Besides I've decided that's what editors are for, lol.

there is a lot you can do with politics: law, education, business school, research, the list goes on.

do what makes you happy! i'm glad you are picking a minor you like.. did you decide on your major too yet? dont worry cracker, you will be good at whatever you do!

I know but I need more specifics you know? and every time i turn around I hear that its a dumb major. I love it though. I think I may try to triple major, if its only a matter of 1 or 2 classes, after all we can do that here at potsdam, that's how we roll yo. I have officially declared a history major and I'm working on a geology major. I just need an appointment. But its one major down 1 major and 1 possible minor to go!
