Adventures in unemployment

Has it really been over a month since I last posted? Oh well, I just haven't had much to say. But guess what I did on the weekend? I went kayaking! Aw *hugs* I kinda understand. Everyone else thinks they know what you should be doing, but you are the one who actually has to do it, whatever that is. It's hard to justify saying no to any job, even if it's lame. Everyone's full of advice these days. But you will know what's best. Hang in there!

UGH, you have my sympathies, I'm going through the same thing right now. It's only getting more frustrating as the summer winds down. But no one should have to deal with an older brother rubbing your nose in it. It's just a horrible time to find a job.

In case you haven't seen it yet, afrocurl just linked this totally amazingly cathartic rant.

I'm sorry your brother is a jackwad. That sucks, but it's awesome your mom is supportive. Unemployment is sucky, but I know you'll get through it. I hear you and totally understand...being unemployed is even harder when you don't have a clear cut vision of what you want in life. I have a job and I still don't know what it is I want...
