LOL. Very cool. FWIW, I don't think Daryan won't get the death sentence, bcos politics are dark like that. He'll probably spend a few years in jail then get a 'new identity' or sth. XD (I'm liking Daryan and Klavier much better now that you write fics about them. LOL I'm fickle.)

Thanks. ^^ Heh, if it'll get you liking them better, I'll be happy to write more! (I still have 2 or 3 plotbunnies for them.) :D Though I'm not very sure about how I write Daryan and Klavier yet actually... I'm still thinking about their characters... trying to find the balance between affected!Klavier and serious!Klavier, among other things. They'll probably be like ZoroSan for me even if I figure it out - in a 'probably wouldn't feel perfectly comfortable with their voices even though I write them' sense.

I don't think Daryan will get the death sentence either - giving his probably outstanding track record as a police officer and that he probably wouldn't be charged with premeditated murder. But when you say politics, what do you mean? Are you referring tot he possibility of them trying to cover up the matter as much as possible because the Chief Justice is involved?

Oh no. Japanese politics mainly involve pretending not to know and pushing the blame. The Chief Justice will most likely push all responsibility from himself by using the excuse - "I didn't know nor care where that officer got the 'medicine' from" no matter the accusations.

I think you can call the whole matter 'covered up' bcos it was 'dealt by the law already case closed.' What happens after that we never know. XD
