I've travelled into the Calm Lands now, guardian following faithfully behind. It's interesting having Vincent around. On one hand it's nice to have someone to talk to whenever the silence is heavy. On the other, he is a stoic sort of person and doesn't talk too much unless prompted. Either way, I like his constant, steady presence; he is a perfect

Urgh, how could I have missed them?! I was right there...perhaps I fell asleep or wandered away from my spot....well, doesn't matter now. I'll meet them soon enough. Hopefully my journey won't be for nothing. I'm in desperate need of spheres...
The Calm Lands are rather nice. It's hard to imagine that summoners once battled Sin here...I wonder how Lord Nanaki feels about them...
((She's nearing! >]))

Nanaki glanced behind him once more, catching a glimpse of his brooding guardian for the umpteenth time that evening. He was just worried, that's all. The guy was silent and unmoving, but brooding was a bit much even for him. Well, maybe Nanaki just hadn't known him long enough. Either way, he hoped the depression would work its way through and be gone already.
Looking back ahead, he sighed into the oncoming breeze and closed his eyes in a brief moment of peace. Brooding himself wouldn't help his friend. If Nanaki wasn't cheerful, then why should Vincent be? He decided to take his mind off of it for the moment and concentrate on another things.
Like Quistis. He couldn't believe he had just passed her up! Without noticing either... One minute him and Vincent were in Bevelle just about to head out to the Calm Lands, and the next he was in the Calm Lands and already well past where he had agreed to meet his sphere-hunting friend! How rude it was of him! But, he couldn't remember much of how it ( ... )

Finally, she had reached her two short-term travailing companions. "I finally caught up.", she smiled. Quistis was very glad to be with people again. She'd been waiting so long and before that, she was alone in Bevelle hunting for spheres which turned out to be a good place for it. She turned herself more directly at the Ronso summoner, "So, this Aeon...where do you think it is?"

Nodding, Nanaki listened. He glanced to the side at the cliff wall next to him then back at Quistis. "I think it is not far from here. Somewhere up ahead where the children play. Can you here them?"

My name is Maureen Johnson, the world famous songstress from Luca? I don't know if you've heard of me. But recently I've decided that I want to travel and help out the people of Spira; therefore, I wanted to become a guardian. Besides offering you protection, I also wanted to add that during my time journeying I want to still provide the public with concerts, this will not only raise the general morale of the population, but the minimal fee to attend said concerts will allow for ourselves a small budget for whatever means necessary. I'm not sure, battle-wise, how much I will be able to aid, though I have noticed a somewhat interesting ability to affect things in a supernatural way through my dancing and singing. Something to experiment with. I'm not sure what you think of me by now, but I want to let you know that I intend only the best for the people of Spira. Nice talking to you!

A Guado wishing to become a Ronso's guardian? That is an interesting prospect. I probably could do with another guardian and I suppose it would be fanscinating to meet you, but I have to warn you... I'm not much for stopping my pilgrimage for long periods, or even frequent short periods, of time. I'm afraid that your concerts would might begin to grate on my nerves. I'm sure they're wonderful, and I would love to hear one, but perhaps I'm not the best summoner to travel with for long.
If you wish to join me, then I am currently in the Calm Lands about to head to Mount Gagazet. I'm not sure how that reception would go for you either. Perhaps... I just don't think I'm the best summoner for you to choose to guard. Maybe you should consider other options first. But, do as you wish. I will not deny you ( ... )
