She held it between her fingers, inspecting every nook and cranny of it, pouting in disappointment as it snapped in her too firm grasp. As the black crumbs fell into her lap, she pulled the largest piece apart. On the inside was a thick layer of white cream. Curiously, she licked it away and then grinned in pleasant surprise.
“Spike!” Dru called out, hurrying over to him, another one in her hand. “Try this. It's magic.” She told him before handing it to him.
He raised an eyebrow and stared at his lover in blatant amusement. “Dru, it's an Oreo.”

“Round. Square. Too large. Too small. Hmm...” Dru sat on the mall bench, watching all the people. She cocked her head to the side, studying the people walking past her. “No. No. Too round. Too square. Hmm. Pretty. Pretty.”
Spike came up behind her and watched her curiously. Realizing that she was studying their rear ends, he slipped back into the shadows and joined the crowd of people walking past where she was sitting. Grinning wickedly, he strutted past his lover.
“Perfect.” Dru murmured, realizing it was Spike. She gave him a sheepish smile.
He rolled his eyes. “Damn straight.”

The portal slowly opened, the bright lights filling the room as it moved closer to him-- preparing to swallow him whole. “No!” His lover cried, grabbing his hands as she tried to save him.
“Let me go, precious, you need to let me go.” He pried his hands free, as he fell through the portal-- leaving her alone in the darkness.
Tears began to stream down her cheeks. “No!”

Startled, Drusilla's eyes sprung open in fear. “All gone. All gone. Left me all alone.” She moaned. “Left the slayer and got lost.”

Daddy's prezzies were always better. Hearts still warm and brains still screaming out secrets and thoughts. Then he'd make princess scream to show his love.
But now. Now everything is different. First birthday without one of my boys. But it's just a day. Eternity exists so that we may find each other again. And then a day will make the year mean so much more.

Her eyes flashed with anger as she reached forward and snapped his neck. “Someone's mummy didn't teach him how to be a good little boy.”
A whimper resounded from the bushes, and she turned to find a little girl hiding there. Dru smiled sweetly. “Hello. Do you want to be friends?”
