"Black Friday" Indeed.
As many of you know this past Friday was the infamous black friday. Major sales and crazed shoppers killing each other over that pair of jeans marked down 5 dollars. Well someone was literally killed over such savings. A walmart employee, a temporary one at that, was trampled to death by greedy shoppers trying to get to their deals. I have read

Point of black friday is purely shopping. I even asked my parents, no special event happened in the past to have this. According to her black friday started because it's the day after thanksgiving so everyone has off and christmas is the next major holiday so stores started "black friday" as a major sale day with the early bird specials and such.
Long story short, it's not a real holiday for anyone but crazed shoppers who trample people to death for those wonderful sales.
