Fun news!!!! ^_^ I taught my first ever full lesson! ^_^ Yay I had a great time the downside is I had to video tape the lesson for my professor to watch 0_o That is a little nerve racking though. She is one of the state’s top math elementary math professors she helped write the state’s course of study for math. I just hope she will think I did okay ( Read more... )

Scholarships are most excellent! Congrats ^_^ It's super that the kiddies behaved for you. I totally remember having the little plastic scales in grade two, those things were oddly awesome. At the time, anyways. Oh for the innocent days of being seven years old... ;x

Mountains are FANTASTIC things. We did not go this year, which made me sad, but normally we go to Banff for Family Day. I swear, until you have been in Banff, you have not seen mountains. Banff in the winter is the single most beautiful place on earth. It's pretty dang awesome in the summer too, but man... When you hang out in the mountains with snow everywhere and icicles all over the place, it's such an awesome reminder of how totally sweet God's imagination is ^_^ I did take some pics a few years ago when we were there (here and here and here!)... I should go up there sometime in the next few weeks, just hang out there for a day, and do a total picture-taking fest. It's only like 90 minutes drive from here. I would also say come to Origins and game it up with us, but ( ... )
