Stampin' up! My grandma was ridiculously obsessed with stamping. I still have the horribly overdone/glittery birthday card to prove it.

I for one have a deeper respect for knitting, as it is something that has been around for a lot longer then rubber stamps. Knitting is practical, and you can make things that people can use (and actually like at the same time). Knit your little heart away. Housewives be damned.

i think that article is just another prime example of why modern journalism blows. the writer reminds me of those people who suddenly come across a band that has been around and playing amazing music FOREVER, and think they have "discovered" them. she obviously picked up on a "fad" (or, something that people have been quietly doing and enjoying a long time that she has just now noticed) and felt the need to tie it up in a neat little journalistic package w/disgustingly obtuse labels such as "new domestic" that mean nothing ( ... )
