The fire brigade people just came round, apparently our house is so unsafe that we might get rehoused, and our landlord might get arrested.

Well, because it's above a takeaway there are all sorts of fire laws that have to be passed, which haven't been. Because the work might be so extensive/disruptive, they might be obliged to rehouse us while the house undergoes work... We're getting represented by official bodies and everything! Very swish.

They're such tossers, it's untold!!! I personally think it's quite unlikely we'll end up getting rehoused, to be honest. So there is still hope yet!
