Hi there! I just downloaded this app tonight and made my first test post to my journal. I love the ease of the tag buttons and also tried the camera function - worked perfectly! :)

Two questions, is it very difficult to add in a preview option? I always use that when posting from my laptop and hate people seeing major errors before getting the chance to correct them.

Also, did I miss a button allowing us to select an icon other than the default one? I ended up editing in the desired icon after posting through the edit feature in the Safari page of my post.

Thank you for all the work you've done for this application!

I'll add the preview option after some LiveJournal API changes.
About Userpic (icon) you can change it in the settings screen, which can be called by taping Settings button at the left top corner of the entry writing screen.

is there an plan to make it so that users can respond to comments that are left for them?

When I post, I get alerted when I get a comment, but I would LOVE to be able to respond to those comments through this OUTSTANDING app.

Thanks for you work!

I think I've found a bug or something.

1. My account went unpaid. I tried to post a photo and it didn't work (due to lack of space in my scrapbook).

2. I paid for my account and went back to repost, but it still didn't work.

3. Even though LJ says I have plenty of Scrapbook space, the app still won't post a photo.

4. I have reset the app and logged back in, but it's still inaccurately reading the amount of Scrapbook Space and therefore, not posting. Seems to be stuck with my unpaid account info even though it does say my account is paid. :-\

(Also, when you hit "Reset App" it says "Livejournal App Resetted" or something similar. 'Resetted' is not an actual word in English. It should be "Livejournal App Reset." FYI! :) )

It's looks like a bug with ScrapBook. Actually decision about photos upload possibility is made by server, not the application, so I'll try ti check the ScrapBook server.

And thanks for «Reset», I'll fix it within next release :)

I downloaded versione 0.5.4 through iTunes on my Mac but it doesn't show up on my first generation iPhone after the applications synch: no LiveJournal.app icon.
My iPhone has firmware 2.2 and I haven't updated it to 2.2.1 (cause it's unlocked and jailbroked: could it be a compatibility issue?
Also: is the old Livejournal.app still available through Installer/Cydia? On which repository?
Thanks in advance.

Is this problem still exists?
Repository URL for LiveJournal.app 0.3.2 (will works only for 1.1.4 or lower iPhone firmware) is http://i.cosysoftware.ru.

Yes, it still exists: nothing has changed. LiveJournal.app downloaded from the AppStore but it's only on the computer, not on the iPhone with 2.2, no matter how many syncs I attempt. And since I have this newer version of the firmware I obviously cannot install the old repo version. :-/

I live the app you've created
It'd be great if it made it easier to reply to comments
... Like a chat window or something...
Or an inbox that shows the most recent comments...

Again, thank you

Application will support commenting within next releases (and friends page as well). I'm currently work on this.
