Is LiveJournal.app v.0.5.5 required?

I know that many of you tired to wait a new version of LiveJournal.app (v.0.6) which will support Friends Page reading and commenting, but I want you to know and be sure that I'm working on it.

I also know that current version have some bugs which may be significant for some users. In case of this, I want to ask - should I release intermediate ( Read more... )

update, livejournal.app

Only bug I'd noticed is the double posting on occasion. If turning location detection OFF is a workaround, and solves it, then I'd rather wait for 0.6

Yes, turning off location detection will solve this problem. Thank you for your vote.

My pleasure - it's a superb app (though I did have a panic when I realised that a double tap in the main screen returned the icon strip).

If I could make a small suggestion for future revisions: a drop down menu from the icon strip with other common html tags, such as underlining, super- and sub-scripting, blockquote, etc.

The most annoying bug I've found was that when I'm writing a lot of text, the line I'm currently typing on will often be obscured by the formatting bar (so I can't see what I'm typing). It makes updating kind of a fight, constantly having to scroll the page down manually. However, I'd honestly rather wait for v.0.6, since more of my time on LiveJournal is spent reading my friend's page than updating anyway! ^^;

Agreed. The scrolling is a pain, but it reinforces to post from a real computer if I'm typing that much crap!!! I'd much rather wait for that to be fixed and have friends pages!

It's not because of images, it is because of iPhone Location Detection procedure peculiarity for some regions and cases. For example - it never happens to me.
But, anyway, I'll fix it.

I am anxious for the friends page view and will gladly deal with the small bugs, they're nothing major. Thank you for your hard work.

I don't count it as a bug, but I'd like to see integration between the lj.app's moods and the LiveJournal list of moods. When I type in a mood it doesn't match it to a mood icon.

Heard you. Will add ability to choose it from list instead of typing.
