hey, i don't know if you will like this suggestion or not, but mabey since you can't really get around giving gifts to your family, but you don't want to participate in traditions you don't believe in, you could just offer to spend time with your family. maybe set aside a day to do something special with each of them. who knows, they may appreciate this more (or they may not, i don't know). but at least this way you could make it less materialistic, and still show your family love.

like i said though, you don't have to listen to my suggestion. i don't know everything, and i am aware of that. so if you don't think it will work, ignore everything i just said.

I didn't know we were under pressure to hate eachother, or I was just oblivious cause that describes a lot of my senior year, lol. But I'm game if you are! Just let me know whats up! The last couple months of school band just sucked, for various reasons, but one was you and us no longer talking!
