These little dudes were our weekend guests. They were separated from mama to finish up their weaning (they are 7wks old) and mama was having some anxiety because she couldn't get to the babies and I think the woman who was fostering the bunch of them was a little at the end of her rope. You're such a great ambassador for the breed, and I don't know if you realize that. I never bought the whole pit bulls-are-a-dangerous-breed thinking that's out there in parts of the general public, but I've never been exposed to pitties enough to validate my belief that it's training and not the innate nature that can lead to trouble. But thanks to your posts and pictures, I've had ample proof that they're mostly little mushballs. Thank you.

thank you!! i'm very glad to hear that. they're really basically just dogs like any other dog.

well, all dogs have teeth and are pretty much made for biting. they shouldn't bite people unless they don't have another choice though - but i get your meaning. a lot of times, dogs just aren't socialized as puppies so they get wary of people who "look weird" (my maggie is a good example of this).
