Thoughts and Meta for SPN 7.17
ALRIGHT! This is far too long already, even though it could have easily gone twice this. Just got up to date on SPN (happy dance) wrote most of this, and then needed to go on camp. Absolutely! I am sure Dean's breakdown must be a main plot-point during the rest of this season. If it isn't Dean's decline during the last couple of seasons just doesnt make sense.
I have Dean/Cas goggles on all the time with SPN so that clouds my judgment. It was interesting to read different interpretations. Like Note that Dean doesn’t reply when Castiel inquires as to wether the guy who broke Sam’s head was a friend. Of course Dean/Cas fans interpret this as "more than friends." So nice to read how it can also be a thoroughly negative thing, as Cas himself states later in the episode ("we didn't part friends, Dean").
Hellucifer is defo real. Somehow a part of his "grace" came out of the cage with Sam and is now with Cas. I'm terrified for poor Cas, but relieved for Sam. I hope he becomes a rock for Dean now. He really needs it.
Oh, and before I go I couldn't agree more with this: Dean’s first instinct now is to kill The poor possessed human!
