Even if they find in his favor, I wouldn't worry too much about it affecting your career. With such a litigeous society, nearly everyone I know in the professional arena has dealt with these nightmares a time or two.

I have a hard time believing a prospective employer would just overlook a lost malpractice suit.

I didn't say they'd overlook it, but most hospital administrators do realize these things happen and tend to not discount someone based on a single incident.

Are you thinking of leaving County?
