That happened to me once (and it was picking up the radio from somewhere). I was like a sophomore in high school and I would turn my computer off and the speakers would just very quietly pick up an AM radio station. In my room at night I would just hear these people talking and I thought I was crazy and I would get out of my bed and walk around my room looking for the voices. Then I thought, of course, that I was crazy because I was hearing voices, finally I thought I had isolated it to the speakers and it was driving me mad so I yanked the wires from my computer and threw the speakers in my closet. It was scary. I never told anyone about that before because I thought maybe I was really hearing voices.
